Finding out about Gateshead's Local History: Gateshead in the 20th Century

Finding out about Gateshead's Local History Free one-day education workshop to help you learn how to discover the history of Gateshead using resources from Gateshead Archive. This workshops is themed around Gateshead in the 20th Century. Each workshop will include: how to decide what to research, how to find sources of information in Gateshead Archive, and how to use the sources to answer a historical question. The workshops will be led by Dorothy Hamilton who has been teaching adult education local history courses for over 20 years. You don't need any previous experience of doing courses or qualifications - just come along and enjoy finding out about Gateshead's fascinating history! Free, book in advance places limited.
