This workshop is designed for complete beginners interested in researching the history of their house. It will look at the resources available for house research in Gateshead Archive, including voter lists, historic maps, census and trade directories. Jen Bell from Gateshead Archive will help you understand how records like this can be used to build a picture of when your house was built and who might have lived there. £3, advance booking.
