Mapping the past: The Godfrey Maps

an image is not available
Way back in 1981 Alan Godfrey produced his first historic Ordnance Survey map 'Gateshead East 1984'. Since then over 3000 titles have been produced in what has become a major series of reprints of old Ordnance Survey maps of towns throughout Britain and Ireland. Come and listen to Alan talking about his 'Godfrey edition' in conversation with one of his many authors, local historian Anthea Lang. £3, advance booking.
