This five week local history course concentrates on the Stuart and Georgian periods of history exploring national and local events through a variety of contemporary sources and the effect these had on the lives of local people. Each week two or three local people will be covered in depth as well as subjects such as the Jacobites, Georgian society and natural history. This is a fun, friendly informative course. If you enjoy exploring history this is for you! Course fee £30 payable at first session (no online bookings)
