Calling all craft lovers, bring your family and friends and join in with our free, food inspired creative art activities for all ages. We’ve got expert artists to give you a hand and music to listen too or feel free to sing along! We’ll also have a lunchtime story or two with Gateshead Libraries to sit and enjoy We will be located on the green within the Staiths Food Market, Dunston Staiths on the South Bank of the River Tyne walk, Gateshead. 11am – 3pm Drop in and have a go at our food inspired creative arts with artists Fiona Jamieson and Mark Todman 11am – 3pm Busking and sing along with Paul ( at 11am, 12noon, 1pm and 2pm for 40 minutes) 12 – 12.45pm Storytime with Maria and Joanne from Gateshead Central Library Art in the Market is part of Make It Happen with Helix Arts in partnership with Gateshead Council’s Culture Team.
