Taking inspiration from The Lindisfarne Gospels and other beautiful medieval manuscripts created in the North East; join Angela Reed from Creative Calligraphy at The Angel View Inn and create your own piece of illuminated lettering. Angela will guide you to form an uncial alphabet using a dip pen and ink to write a quote. The second part of this masterclass will involve ‘illuminating’ your piece with decorated letter and border.
