an image is not available
Local author Val Scully introduces her latest novel. Molly's search for her stolen child brings her to Tyneside at a time of transformation and political ferment. Torn between the radical Chartist activities of Winlaton ironworkers and the powerful Bowes family of Gibside, her personal quest is set against the backdrop of a dramatic time in the history of the North East.
